Roxie
Aussie/Labradoodle mix
Female
Black
1 year old
50 lbs
Meet Roxie, your energetic love bug!
This Aussie/Labradoodle mix is a great addition for an active family lifestyle. She loves long walks and running free in a fenced area, and she will fetch any ball or toy. The best word to describe her is “sweet” - she is always happy to energetically greet you with a lick. She is generally well-mannered and doesn’t beg for food, but she might beg for your attention. She does great with loose-leash walking and is fully house and crate trained. Her puppy energy comes in spurts, followed by calm time. Once she bonds with her humans, she doesn’t let them out of her sight. Roxie is very sociable and loves to meet new people and dogs. She needs to work on excitedly jumping and mouthing, typical for her age and breed. We think Roxie would do best in a home with another dog and a large, fenced yard to play out her puppy energy.
Please Note:
*Must have a FENCED-IN yard!*
**No children under 10!**

Story
Archie is a very active 5 year old Aussiedoodle. Archie is potty trained but he is a barker. When left alone 5 minutes or a few hours his barking is constant and he's not able to self sooth. I've tried anxiety toys and puzzles when I need to leave and he doesn't play with those when alone. He paces back and forth while barking. Neighbors have complainted for years about the barking. He's a jumper when you come home and when a visitor comes to the home. The jumping doesn't stop even when you ignore the behavior and go to his level to pet him. He's a very, very anxious dog. Car rides are not enjoyable for anyone in the car as his anxiety gets the better of him.
He's a good sleeper but wakes early. He is good with kids, if they don't mind the excitment jumping.
