Meet Ramona! She is a sweet and gentle dog who has overcome her medical issues and is ready for her forever home. Her previous family initially sought treatment for her injured toe, but when they didn't want to continue caring for it, they brought her to the vet for euthanasia. Fortunately, the vet couldn’t bear to put this beautiful girl down and called us instead. She has since had surgery on her toe. She also needed one of her eyes removed, but is feeling much better now. Ramona adores being around her people and loves being spoken to. She's a professional shadow who loves following her foster family from room to room and keeping them company. She's not big into exercise but absolutely loves rolling in the grass and seeking out the perfect sunbathing spots to work on her tan. Ramona is hoping for a forever family that is calm, quiet, and has humans who will be home with her most of the time. She really just loves being around people and keeping them company. She’s lived with cats, is good on the leash, and the perfect copilot in the car. She’s also housebroken, crate trained, and ridiculously sweet. Ramona would prefer a home without young children but is happy to share it with other dogs as long as she doesn't need to play with them - that would cut into her sunbathing time! Say hello to TESS! Tess is such a doll you can’t help but smile to look at that face and those teeth. This love bug came into the rescue from a hoarder situation. Tess is fully vetted, spayed and 2 to 3 years old. She is in a wonderful foster home with some of her friends from her old place and with a couple of her foster mom’s dogs and doing just wonderful. This sweet loving pup needs a home to call her own that is not overwhelmed and over crowded with other dogs. Such situations lack the time and attention every dog deserves. Tess is going to make an awesome companion for any family. Especially little dog loving families. She is dang near perfect. Personality: Tess is goofy, energetic, and playful! She loves to snuggle up on the end of the couch for long naps. She is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where she can grow to be a wonderful life long family friend. Once adopted Tess will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus. Story
Bandit, came to us along with Buddy and Hershey because their owner had stage 4 lung cancer and could no longer care for them. She's super scared and sweet and you just want to help her. The man kept these dogs in crates for seven years. Everything is over stimulation for her. Overall she’s doing very well considering her entire world has been erased and there's so much around new to get used to. She is very very sweet. I believe she’s half bull dog—she has the bull dog snort. She weighs 38 lbs. She lived with other dogs in her life ---both males and females and she lived another male and a cat in her foster home. At first she wasn’t overly friendly with the dogs here but has adjusted after a slow introduction. Bandit is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. She is also housetrained.
