*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Coffee is a big, sweet cuddle bug who LOVES to lounge on the couch or nap in his bed. He is almost 2 years old (8/18/23), house-trained, crate-trained, and very well-behaved in the home. He has been raised around small children (including babies and toddlers) and is a gentle, loyal protector of his little humans. He happily plays alongside kids and snuggles up when it’s time to rest. Due to a move and health concerns, I am looking for a new home where Coffee can thrive. Preferable for someone who is experienced with large breed dogs

Story
ROXY Female, spayed 2 years old Cane Corso Mix 73 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Good with kids and cats; untested with other dogs Roxy is a confident, affectionate girl with a big heart and a zest for life! She was recently returned to LOVEPAWS, after being adopted as a puppy, because of tough circumstances- she needed life saving emergency surgery after swallowing something that caused an intestinal blockage. While LOVEPAWS was able to fundraise for the unexpected cost of her surgery, Roxy’s family realized that she would be better off in a home with more time for this active girl. She lived with small kids, who she was very sweet and patient with, but she’s so big and strong that she can accidentally knock little ones down. She also lived with cats that she was curious about and tried to play with. Speaking of play, she loves to play with anyone who’s willing. She likes to parade her toys around and entertains herself chewing with singular focus. Roxy also enjoys being outside, walking, running, sniffing, and laying in the grass while watching the world around her. Roxy is very loving, social, and silly. She gives big kisses, leans her full body weight against people for rubs, and may occasionally pass herself off as a lap dog. Roxy loves people — sometimes a little too much! On walks, she can be strong and tends to pull when she sees a new friend she wants to greet. With some consistent training and a bit of patience, Roxy will learn to be a polite walking companion — she’s smart and eager to please! She likes to flop around and get belly rubs while giving kisses and gentle nibbles. Roxy enjoys playtime, but she does need to be supervised around toys or any objects she might try to swallow. D urable toys or chews are ideal for her. She’s best suited for an attentive home that can keep her safe while she has her fun. Roxy is house trained, crate trained, knows “sit,” and is working on loose leash walking. She’s a smart, strong girl who would love to bond with her new family through play and some continued training. Roxy thrives with active humans who can help her burn off energy through play, walks, or outdoor adventures. She’s sweet, snuggly once she settles down, and would be a loving addition to a home ready to help her shine. Roxy sometimes falls asleep with just the tip of her tongue sticking out. She loves on you with her whole body- leaning against you for pets, sitting on you, nuzzling your face, giving juicy kisses, and sometimes playfully hooking a paw over your shoulder to pull you close! She lets you know she wants to play by bringing you her toys and parading around or by whisper barking. Roxy sometimes puts herself to bed when she’s tired, but like a kid, she sometimes needs you to prompt her to nap- luckily she sprawls out in her crate very happily. Roxy kicks blankets around to make a “nest,” but then often flops on her side on the floor to sleep. Ready for a fun, loyal buddy who will keep life exciting? Roxy’s your girl! Story
Raine is searching for her forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: This sweet mama has devoted herself to raising her adorable litter of puppies, and now she's ready to embrace all the joys of life as a beloved companion. Raine is looking forward to her new adventure and all the wonderful experiences that adoption brings! Raine's foster family reports that she's doing great on walks and will quickly master her leash manners in a training class. One of her standout traits is her talent as a trained retriever-she loves to play fetch and will happily drop the toy at your feet! Recently, she's taken on the role of soccer goalie, skillfully stopping squeaky balls from getting past her. When playtime wraps up, Raine enjoys burrowing under the covers, where she can completely disappear! This sweet girl has a special fondness for cheese and won't hesitate to remind you if she hasn't had her daily share. Raine is also getting comfortable in her crate, happily settling in whether the gate is open or closed when her foster is around. With a bit of patience and training, she'll soon feel at ease in her crate even when left alone. If you're looking for a loving and playful companion who's ready to fill your days with joy and snuggles, Raine is the perfect match for you! Come meet her and see how she can brighten your life! Please check out a video of Raine here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyI8jKYmC30 -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. 1 year old Cane Corso mix is a loyal, protective, and affectionate dog who thrives once he builds trust with his people. He’s already crate and potty trained, making the transition easier for his new family. While he does need patience and consistency with socialization, he has a sweet nature and a strong bond with those he knows. DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Angel is 2yo, weighs 92lbs, is intact (however, her guardian will arrange for spay surgery prior to rehoming), is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped.  Angel's guardian adds:   "Angel knows 'sit', 'down', 'paw', and will wait to eat on command.  She dislikes/fears balloons, vacuums, bikes, and car rides (she's very anxious).  She's permitted free roam of the house during the day except for bedrooms, and she sleeps on her bed or in her crate at night. Angel currently eats Authority Sensitive Stomach + Skin Lamb & Rice Formula.  Angel deserves a stable home with someone that is able to give her attention 24/7 rather than being home and occasionally walked by different dog walkers/house sitters or in boarding places… She’s also not fond of car rides so bringing her is not an option even though I’ve tried.  It hurts but I know she deserves so much better than I can offer her. I’ve went back and forth about it for months now and it’s finally time for me to make the best decision." Angel's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:  "Moving in August and starting a job that will require me to travel and be on the road a lot." Angel's guardian offers a brief a medical history:  "Environmental allergies and we help this by wiping her completely down with Pet MD Chlorhexidine Antiseptic Wipes after coming inside from walks or playing, cleaning her crate tray every other date, minimizing dust in the house or collected on her crate, and washing her blankets and beds weekly.  Vets recommend allergy shots; however, we've used the above methods as a cost efficient way to maintain her allergies instead and it works wonders."   Angel's guardian states the following regarding children:  Angel has lived with and lives with young children, ages 3-5, so her guardian recommends her living with children, stating... "Angel is very playful and LOVES attention.  She is a gentle giant with kids of all ages.  She can get overly excited and overestimate her power when kids are excited but she knows to calm down on command.  She grew up with my daughter who was a very curious and hyperactive 3 year old.  She’s never reacted to my daughter pulling her tail, moving her food, taking her toys, or anything. We worked on all of those reactive behaviors since she was a puppy." Angel's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Angel lived with another dog, so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "Angel has lived with another dog her age for a short while.  They played very well together after being slowly introduced." Angel's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Since Angel has never lived with nor otherwise been around cats, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats. Angel's guardian describes her as: Very active Playful Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate Protective Always at your side Indoor dog Outdoor dog House-Trained Crate-Trained Likes men Likes women Angel's guardian describes her ideal future home: "Angel’s ideal family is one who is very active and lives in a single family home with lots of space for her to roam.  Fenced backyard is a plus but definitely not required.  A family with young / middle aged kids that love to be outside and can play with her is also a plus!  She will get tired and so will they! ;)" Rehoming Fee:  None Location:  Edgewood, MD***** ADOPTION PROCESS  1. Story
Spike is a gorgeous, a 4-year-old Cane Corso mix with a big heart! Spike is truly a gentle giant who walks very well on the leash and prefers to just hang out with his people. He does not appear to be reactive to other dogs or cats. He may be a bit shy at first, but calm, kindness (and a few treats) will win him over. He knows "sit" and will likely be easy to train because he is treat motivated. He enjoys being read to and will sit or lay down and listen. He wants nothing more than to be a loving and loyal companion. If you are interested in meeting this beautiful, big boy, please complete an application or schedule a time to meet him. SPIKE IS A FREEDOM FRIENDS ELIGABLE PET! At the Humane Society, we deeply value and honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. To show our appreciation, we are offering a special opportunity for verified veterans to adopt an animal at 50% off the adoption fee. This offer applies to all animals who have been in our shelter for 6 months or more, giving these wonderful pets a chance to find the loving homes they deserve, while also providing veterans with a loyal companion.

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feetFOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! Story
Bo was rescued from a yard where he was tied out and abandoned. He has been in a home with 2 other dogs & 2 cats. So he can coexist with other animals with proper introduction. He loves to go for walks, bathe in the sun & is a huge baby just looking for attention. We believe he is around 5 years old only from his prediction of age of 2 when we received him. Bo recent behavior issues for rehoming are due to us not having enough time for him due to our hectic schedule. Like accidents in the house & trash rummaging. Because our other Dog has passed away & our demanding schedules he's now left alone more.
