Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. Troll was a bit shell shocked after her trip up North. But, once he got home and ran around free in the yard he lit right up! Sweet puppy, with a lot of spirit and energy. Very social and would love to curl up on the couch with you after play time. He will definitely be a friend for life. Smart dog who learns quickly. The doggy door was quickly mastered after watching my dog use it. After that, it was a lot of fun to be able to go in and out at will. It was also a very useful way to carry our toys outside. Never had a #2 accident, that was never an issue. But, a couple of #1s. Very close! Loves a good bell rub. Very soft! Big floppy ears that are adorable and flop arond when he runs. The tail is jet black on top and tan on the bottom. And, the paws are rather big; definitely some growing to be done to match! Healthy appetite, so that shouldn't be a problem. Dakota is a very affectionate, gentle, 97 pound, 7-8 year old female black/tan Doberman with a calm and friendly personality. She is a bit overweight and on a journey to a healthier leaner body. Dakota is a special needs dog; she had a cancerous mass which was removed. There are currently no signs of cancer but she should be monitored to see if it returns. Dakota greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and gentle kisses. Dakota is calm and well-mannered. She is content to take naps and relax. If she is left alone she does whine and pace. She is not destructive but will chew a blanket. She sleeps through the night on her dog bed. Dakota will do best in a new home where someone is home with her. She does well when riding in the car. Dakota spent some with another female Doberman and got along well with her. She would be a good companion for an older or more relaxed playmate rather than rough-housing with a young puppy. This handsome stoic baby is Tucker. He is around 1 1/2 and just absolutely loves to be with people. He does need a home with no children as they make him nervous and are not his favorite. He would benefit from training as he can be territorial and needs help learning some manners and boundaries. He has previously lived with cats and was said to be good with them. We still think super slow and patient introductions is best to give everyone time to get comfy. He also lived with another dog and did great but doesn't care for the small ones.
