Story
I spy with one little eye, our single eyed friend, Mr. Uno! See what I did there? ;) Uno is a special man who is looking to be the center of your world! He loves toys, cheese, and affection, and he is ready to find his forever home! We believe Uno is a shepherd mix who is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 65 pounds! He is a slender gentleman with the best lanky legs! Due to Uno being a rescue, age and breed are our best guesses and cannot be guaranteed. One thing is for sure, you will be the apple of Uno’s eye! Check out Uno in action here! https://youtu.be/KJuhkk_1qRA Uno wants his animal family life like the number of his eyes, a party of one. Uno is a bit of an attention hog in the very best way. He needs a home where he can be the only pet and completely soak in all of the love his family has to offer. Uno will thrive best in a home with no other dogs or cats. He likes the independent life. If there is a couch to cuddle on, he wants to be the only dog up there receiving all of the affection! Our staff couldn’t help but brag on Uno when they would spend time with him! Everyone always had one thing in common to say about him… “he is going to be such a good family dog!” Uno did so well hanging out with our clinic director’s daughter who is 10. He was gentle taking treats from her and just wanted to be pet and loved on. We consider Uno to be kid friendly and would do well in a home with older children who understand how to enrich bigger dogs. Uno is a large boy with longgg legs! He will thrive best in a home with a yard over an apartment lifestyle. He loves to be outside and I can see him living his best life gliding around the yard and soaking in all of the sun rays! He also does so well in his crate! He is quiet and knows when it is time to settle down. Uno is a one of a kind guy! It’s not everyday you get the chance to adopt a one eyed wonderboy! If you are looking for a friend to spend your days with, Uno is your guy! Uno is ready to be your one and only! Interested? Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Meet Maddox! The solid white pittie goofball boy who loves toys, toys, and more toys! If you’ve been looking for a boy to add excitement and fun to your life, then you have come to the right profile! We believe Maddox is a pittie mix, who is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But what he lacks in DNA results he makes up for in good looks! This guy is one handsome pooch! Check out Maddox here: https://youtu.be/l8dnUpSHiSo Maddox is the one who is known to bring the party! He loves to play the day away! If you give him a toy and a treat, that boy is in hog heaven! When he met some of the dogs on property, all he wanted was to get them to have fun with him! He especially bonded with Aurora, a medium energy, but playful, female! They were zooming on and off the couch and having the best time! He is dog friendly and would do great in a home with a dog similar to Aurora. He would be the best playmate to another dog who knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to rest. Maddox has the makings of being a very good doggy brother! Maddox is such a fun boy and wants everyone to be as happy as him! Even cats! LOL. Due to his love for life and playing around, it would be best if he was in a home without kitty friends! They might not appreciate his enthusiasm, haha. As far as children go, he has a lot of joy in that stout little body and loves a good game of tug of war! We haven't seen him with smaller children, but would recommend that he is in a home with older kids that know how to interact with a strong dog like Maddox. If you are interested to know how he responds around a specific age of child that is in your home, please let us know and we will be happy to check for you! We want to make sure he is perfect for your family! Another perk about Maddox? He is such a good car passenger! He loaded in the car so well when he spent time with our director of behavior, Olga. He wasn’t stressed out at all as the car was in drive. Olga bragged “Great car rider! Loves people. No barking at people through the car with the windows down when we were at the gas station.” He is ready to load up on our travel bus and head to his new forever home! Maddox could do well in a home with a yard or in an apartment with an owner who is dedicated to providing him with the daily exercise that he needs. He is mindful and quiet in his crate and only starts to talk a bit if other dogs are walking by. He also would be a great guy to take with you hiking and exploring the great outdoors. Maddox is such a hoot and is going to be somebody’s very best friend! Does he sound like your new best bud? Apply for him today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/68122e7bbfa58eea6d0eb134 Questions? Meet Aspen Breeze! With a demeanor fitting of his name, he is a big chill puppy boy who we have fallen absolutely in love with here at Rustic! We believe Aspen is a Husky Dane mix of some sort who is around a year old. He weighs approximately 60 pounds and is probably still growing a bit more! Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But that’s the fun of rescue! You get a perfect pup mixed with surprise breeds. They’re an exclusive breed just for you and your family ;) Check out Aspen here: https://youtu.be/uX968HQdrAc Aspen is the definition of a gentle giant. His entire time with us, he remained calm and peaceful. He coexists beautifully with all living beings. He truly is such a special boy. His demeanor makes him the perfect work from home or patio companion. When you’re at home, he wants to be by your feet, seeking the assurance that he has somebody to love him. And he is so docile with others, that if you brought him out, he seems like the type that would just stay by you as you enjoyed your coffee or fresh draft pour. When we introduced him to the dogs on campus, he remained gentle with all of them. He allowed them to conduct their exploratory sniffs and joined them for little tromps around the yard. If he were to be in a home with other dogs, he would do well with other dogs that match his laid back energy. He isn’t the one to initiate play or stay in play mode very long. He would also do just fine as a solo dog soaking in all of the love for himself! Due to his size, it would be best if he lived in a house with a yard to stretch his legs for a bit daily. But his demeanor is so chill that he would do okay in an apartment with an owner that can offer him an active lifestyle of getting daily walks. When we introduced him to Biggie, our housecat, he was very cautious and respectful of this new feline friend. He offered some curious sniffs but ultimately stayed away. We consider him to be cat tolerant! If you have a cat in your home and are interested to see how he does for a prolonged time with felines, please feel free to let us know! We want to make sure he is perfect for your family! We didn’t get to bring him any children while he was with us, but he was very respectful when we passed by a bunch of kids volunteering at the property. He is a young boy and shows potential to be a great family dog! We are happy to introduce him to any age child that may be in your home to see how he reacts! Aspen is a 10/10 on the good doggo scale. He is literally man’s best friend. He is a sweet boy who genuinely wants to be loved by his people. His heart is huge and he is ready to devote his love and attention to those who want to devote theirs to him. Does Aspen sound like your new best friend? Story
Meet Lavender Willow. She has a demeanor that is as peaceful as her name incites. She is like a gentle fresh breeze on a spring day. She is a dainty lady who just wants to be loved. We believe Willow is a great dane mix of some sort weighing approximately 50 pounds and is about 1 year old. Due to her being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But that’s what makes rescue the best! She is a Texas special uniquely handcrafted for you and your family. :) Watch Willow in all of her elegance here: https://youtu.be/fLiYkLCWT8g The thing that makes Willow so special is that she is the poster child for being a gentle giant. Her soft eyes and demure personality makes her incredibly hard to resist. When you’re around her, all you want to do is baby her and give her kisses and let her rest in your lap. She is 100% man’s best friend and will thrive being with a family who wants to devote their love to her. Willow prefers people over cats and dogs alike. When she met Biggie, our house cat, she sniffed him, but was indifferent to his presence. She currently lives with cats at her foster home and incites play occasionally. If she were to be in a home with cats, they would need to be dog savvy and okay with the occasional puppy curiosity. When it came to meeting the dogs on property, she was peaceful with them, but chose to stay with the humans over joining the other dogs in play. She would be perfectly fine as a single dog! She wouldn’t attest to claiming all of the love for herself! But if there were another dog in the home, it would be best if it were with a pup that matches her soft, low energy. Wherever the people went, Willow was there to follow! She was my little shadow as we walked around the yard and inside she just wanted to be by Isabel the whole time. It was honestly nice to feel so wanted by her. If you are looking for a best friend that you can rely on to cuddle with you throughout the day and night, Willow is your perfect match! She hasn’t been around children, but we would be happy to see how she responds to the energy of kids if you have them in your life! Just let us know. We want to make sure she is perfect for you! She is a medium sized dog who has the potential to get a bit bigger as she grows to her full size. It would be best if she lived in a home with a yard over an apartment lifestyle so that she could get her daily exercise in. She did excellent on leash and would make a great walking partner! Willow is such an amazing girl and will be a huge blessing to whoever chooses to invite her to be a part of her family. Does Willow sound like the girl for you?
