Story
Hi, I'm Mac! I'm the sweetest, most charming, and most goofy dog you will ever meet. I'd be sure to make you laugh every single day! I love meeting new people of all ages and am super outgoing and friendly. Going for walks, car rides, pup cups, snuggling in bed, playing with squeaky toys, and relaxing outside are some of my favorite things! I play well with other dogs, just not when there's food or toys around. I've met a cat and was curious. I know sit, lay down, wait, leave it, and come. I'm truly the best boy ever and everyone who meets me falls in love, come adopt me! ##2280233##

Lexus was found with her brother, Ford, and a vet clinic in northern MN took them in and brought them to rescue. We aren't sure her history, but she is so excited for the future!  Lexus is a great little lady who would do well in an active home, with space to run and play, and something to keep her brain and nose busy! Story
This stunning 3-year-old, 75-pound Mastiff mix is ready to be your new shadow! Zara is sweet, sensitive, and a total cuddlebug. Though Zara comes from a difficult past, she has made incredible progress. She’s silly, cuddly, and deeply affectionate once she trusts you. Watching her find joy in the simple things—like leaning in for affection or settling at your feet—is a beautiful thing.Zara is best suited for a rural home and one where she can get plenty of exercise. She loves being outside, keeping an eye on her surroundings, and most of all, snuggling with her person. As long as Zara’s activity is consistent, she is a happy girl! Right now, she does best in a large, secure outdoor kennel run when unsupervised for short periods. A fenced-in yard will be required for her safety. Zara has separation anxiety, so her ideal home is with a family who is home most of the time, or someone with a flexible schedule. Because of this, she cannot live in a home with shared walls (no apartments/townhomes). With the right person—someone kind, experienced, and home often—Zara will be a fiercely loyal, affectionate companion. She is good with cats and most dogs—she currently lives peacefully with dogs of various sizes. She has not had much experience with children, so she will get along best with dog-savvy kids. She will not be able to live with larger female dogs.Zara deserves a family that sees her for who she is: a sensitive soul with a big heart. If you’re looking for a dog who can give you a lifetime of love, she just might be your perfect match! If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
Sparrow is a lovable, oversized puppy bursting with charm! At just around 3 months old, this 30-pound Shepherd mix is full of bounce and mischief—he enjoys climbing into chairs and onto his brothers during play. Seriously, he sits on his brothers all the time! True to his age, Sparrow is full of energy. He loves to romp with his siblings, cuddle up when he's tired, and play with big squeaky toys—his absolute favorite being a floppy, battery-powered fish that he'll fight his brothers for. When it comes to exercise, he's been on a leash a few times but is NOT a fan (yet). He’s discovering the world one step at a time—literally. He's still figuring out how to manage his big, clumsy paws, especially when going up and down stairs. House training is just beginning, but he’s starting to pick a preferred potty spot in the outdoor kennel and sleeps peacefully through the night. Sparrow is happy to go in and out of the outdoor kennel freely, but he isn't used to formal crate training yet. Sparrow is settling into foster life beautifully, since he’s so excited to play with his doggy roommates. He’s often the one to challenge the biggest of the trio for top spot, though he doesn’t usually come out on top. He’s not used to being alone yet, and when separated from his siblings he may whine briefly before calming down. His behavior with cats is unknown at this point.Around people, Sparrow is affectionate and eager for attention. He’s a sweet-natured boy who melts for ear scratches. He’s been great with older kids in the foster home, especially ages 6 and up. Due to his growing size and puppy enthusiasm, he may be overwhelming for toddlers unless closely supervised. If you’re looking for a big-hearted puppy who’s still growing into his paws, Sparrow might just be your perfect matchIf you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Story
Goldfinch is a big sweetheart! At just 3 months old, this Shepherd mix is already 27 pounds of cuteness. Goldfinch is a snugglebug who’s happiest when curled up in your lap, getting face rubs, and giving slobbery kisses. Just about everything he does is adorable!Goldfinch is an active, curious pup who loves to play. He's done well on a leash so far, and loves being outside. He enjoys chasing after fluffy squeaky toys, play-wrestling with his siblings, and playing keep away with his favorite fish toy. Of course, when he's tired, he’s all about the snuggles.Goldfinch is learning so much every day. He recently mastered climbing stairs—which was both hilarious and heart-melting to watch. While he’s just beginning the potty training process, he’s already showing signs of consistency. He sleeps soundly at night and is comfortable coming and going from his open kennel, though he hasn’t yet been introduced to crate training with a closed door. He’s settled in beautifully with his foster family, and loving being part of the pack. He’s got a great balance of respectful behavior and rowdiness when playing. While he hasn’t spent much time alone yet, he tends to calm down fairly quickly if separated from his brothers. His behavior with cats is unknown so far.Goldfinch is gentle and affectionate with people and thrives on attention—especially cuddles and scratches behind the ears. He’s done well with older kids (ages 6 and up), but his size and enthusiasm mean very young children should be supervised during interactions. If you’re looking for a giant pup who's a total sweetheart, Goldfinch is ready to meet you!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550.
