Story
We are heartbroken -- in many ways, Peggy is a sweet dog. She is 1 year old, we got her from a breeder in Ohio. She loves walks and playing fetch. She is fiercely protective.
Unfortunately, lately she has been aggressive to strangers. She bit a vet tech and made her bleed. She also bit a family friend. She's barking and chasing people she's unfamiliar with and she has nipped our kids, which is the red line for us. She is also very sweet with them most of the time, but her anxiety and fearfulness are coming out through biting.
She is high energy and a velcro dog, so she would do best with someone who is home a lot and who has time to be active with her. She has done well with dogs in the past, but has recently been more barky and unfriendly to them. She's never bitten a dog, though.
She's house trained and has basic obedience down. She will be a great dog for someone with experience!
